1. Renovation of Ali Refai Girls Secondary School
In July 2025, Ras Ghareb Wind Energy (RGWE) took the lead, in partnership with Red Sea Wind Energy (RSWE), to implement a landmark project in Ras Ghareb: the complete upgrading of Ali Refai Girls Secondary School, the city’s only secondary school for girls, serving more than 500 students. The initiative was a collaborative effort, with RGWE and RSWE funding two-thirds of the project, Suez Wind Energy (SWE) contributing the remaining third, and Gold Wind providing all the furniture necessary to fully equip the school. The project addressed damage caused by severe floods, including structural repairs, classroom refurbishments, sanitation improvements, and overall modernization of the learning environment. The school now offers a safe, well-equipped, and modern facility, enhancing students’ educational experience and benefiting the wider community.

2. RGWE Summer Internship
In August 2025, RGWE and RSWE launched a summer internship program targeting 22 students and recent graduates in engineering and renewable energy fields. The program offered practical, on-site training at RGWE and RSWE facilities, with additional support from Gold Wind and Orascom Construction PLC. Participants gained hands-on experience and strengthened their technical skills, preparing them for future careers in the renewable energy sector.

3. Honoring Ceremony for Ideal Mothers
Also in August 2025, RGWE and RSWE organized a special ceremony to honor Ideal Mothers, including a recipient recognized at the national level. The event reflected RGWE and RSWE's commitment to recognizing outstanding community members and promoting social values through meaningful engagement.

4. RGWE Scholarship Program
Under the scholarship program established by RGWE, which began with the 2018 agreement and was updated in 2023 with Ras Ghar Municipality’s education representative, support is provided for four years with a grant of 2,500 EGP per student. This year, RGWE continues its commitment by supporting 15 students, including 13 ongoing recipients. After reviewing the applications, the selection committee, comprising the Director of the Educational Department, the Scholarship Coordinator, and the CSR Officer, selected two new students to join the program for the 2025–2026 academic year.
